Why a Blog?

I am so late to the blog game, that it seems like I missed the whole thing. I thought I might at least make it in time to the 7th inning stretch, but everyone went home and all that’s left are hot dog wrappers and empty seats. I am not even really sure who won the game.

But I guess I am doing this for 2 reasons…

1) I was never allowed to have a Myspace, so I am making up for that now!

2) I need a place to share my work and progress with someone other than my husband*.

*While he is very supportive, I still have the urge to share my work with others. Even if it’s terrifying.

I only have a few finished, portfolio- ready pieces. But, I have many experimental sketches and many ideas. I would like to share some of these  with others in this blog.
